K Biz Help · Legal
Privacy Notice
This notice explains how K Biz Help / K Biz Centre handles personal information when you browse this website, submit a diagnostic or contact us.
Last updated: 21 July 2026 · Version 1.0
1. Controller and contact
The controller responsible for personal information collected through this website is KOREA TOWN FOUNDATION CIC (Company number 14497834), trading through K Biz Help / K Biz Centre. Contact: K Biz Centre, 60 High Street, New Malden KT3 4EZ, United Kingdom; info@kbizhelp.org. Where an enquiry is referred to an independent service provider, that provider will give you its own privacy information and may act as a separate controller.
2. Information we collect
We may collect identity and contact details, organisation and role, country, website or professional profile, project goals, target markets, documents you say are available, your enquiry, language, consent choices, correspondence, and technical security logs. Please do not send passports, bank details, health data, criminal records or confidential case documents through the initial form unless specifically requested through a secure channel.
3. Purposes and lawful bases
We use data to answer and triage enquiries, provide requested information, maintain security and records, comply with law, and—with separate optional consent—send newsletters or updates.
- Enquiry handling: steps requested before a contract and/or legitimate interests in responding and administering the portal.
- Legal, fraud, sanctions and security controls: legal obligation and/or legitimate interests.
- Electronic marketing to individuals: consent where required; you may withdraw it at any time.
4. Sharing and referrals
We share only what is reasonably necessary with hosting, IT and communications suppliers, professional advisers, regulators or authorities where required, and a selected partner only where needed to handle your request and with an appropriate lawful basis. A diagnostic result is not confirmation that a provider has accepted your matter. Conflict, identity, AML and eligibility checks may be required first.
5. International transfers and security
Because enquiries may concern overseas markets, information may need to be transferred outside the UK. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards, we will use an adequacy regulation, approved contractual safeguards and any necessary risk assessment, or another lawful exception. We use proportionate access controls and security measures, but ordinary email and internet transmission cannot be guaranteed completely secure.
6. Retention
Initial enquiries are normally retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is needed for a complaint, legal obligation, dispute, safeguarding or establishment of legal claims. Marketing records are kept until consent is withdrawn or after 24 months of inactivity, subject to a minimal suppression record. Security logs are normally retained for up to 12 months. A formally engaged provider will apply its own retention policy.
7. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact info@kbizhelp.org. We may need to verify your identity. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, although we would welcome the opportunity to address your concern first.
8. Children and changes
This business portal is not directed to children under 18. We may update this notice when services, suppliers or law change; the date above identifies the current version.
